People wonder how come Donald just went and shared all the things he was thinking out loud with the guy who was instrumental in bringing down Nixon. Having known several narcissists, I'm pretty sure Bob just stroked his ego a little bit and Trump couldn't resist the temptation to brag.

Resisting this temptation is very, very difficult for narcissists. All it takes is a willing listener to give affirmative feedback and egg them on. The other 16 were Trump randomly calling Woodword! The fact that only 3 of the 19 were official makes it even more moronic. The reasoning I heard mimics what you've seen above. This is ego, this is narcissism.

Trump doesn't think anything he is doing is wrong, so when Woodward proposed this, or when it was proposed, Trump did it. He wanted glory and for someone to write out all the awesome stuff he thinks he's done. Remember Trump does all these terrible things because he believes in his rotten heart that everyone is liars and corrupt just like him. He thinks the world operates purely on corruption and scheming and for him it always has.

His terrible world view is reinforced constantly with the successes he does have, and the lack of accountability he's had his whole life.

Hes a narcissistic idiot who believes wholly in himself and himself alone and can't think very far out of the corrupt box. To those saying that corruption is the norm, I just want to say that we stand on non corruption. The ideals of this country urge us away from this, and its up to all of us to keep corruption unacceptable. Keep fighting. Keep voting.

The general idea about narcissism used to be "very confident people", which just couldn't be farther from the truth in literally every way. Psychologists and the specially interested of course knew this, but now us laymen have wisened up as well. The other thing that it's worth pointing out is that he thinks everyone's as ignorant as him. That's why we get all the "Nobody could have known" and "Nobody knows more about this than I do".

Well, he is not smart enough to imagine anyone smarter than he is. So, he assumes everyone is stupider than him. Nah, he knows that other people are smarter. He aggressively fires those people because he can't stand the thought of keeping them around, which is why all of his staffers are even dumber than him.

I would agree. A lot of people think this way when they are young and immature, but ultimately life throws them curveballs that teach them a degree of humility and empathy for others, but not Trump, who has always gotten away. This makes him very dangerous if he feels his situation gets too desperate.Check out the movies and shows we're excited about this month, including " Star Trek: Discovery " and After We Collided.

See the full list. Susan Lewis' boyfriend Div Cvetic, a psychiatric resident at County General, seems to be under a great deal of stress regularly lashing out at everyone. Doug Ross takes over for Mark Greene who takes a day off to be with his wife. He has a hard time keeping up with all the paperwork. John Carter is increasingly frustrated with Peter Benton who never seems to invite him to participate in surgeries.

Benton learns the result of the fellowship he applied for and his mother shows up in the ER with a sprained ankle. Carol Hathaway treats a patient who was raped. A new ER aide, Bob, start work. Written by garykmcd. The 8th episode was just great all around and set up a possible turning point in one of the main characters, in Dr.

Bennet maybe becoming more human, and showed the frustrations between Doug and Hathaway still after a magical procedure. What really stood out for me this episode is dr. I noticed this in one of the early episodes back. He walked into the ER and placed a coffee down and then moments later Susan said I need a coffee to the man that sits at the front desk where green placed it.

He then said he would get her one meanwhile green is getting on as if nothing is going on. But this episode green shows up at the ER with a bottle of champagne and towards the end of the episode gives it to John Carter because during a scene he told Carter that the spinal fluid was to paraphrase if you get it on your first try the lumbar shot, the resident owes you a bottle of champagne. Oddly he did and oddly green had brought it in already and gives it to him before he caps the night off with Susan.

I think it has to do with how much in love he is in with susan. I think he bought it for her for her birthday which happened to be this day but at the end of the night it got ruined bc of family issues. So, my seasons favorite so far, john Carter joins her on the roof with the bottle of champagne to share it with Susan.

It feels like in someway it stems from green! It has to because it was just amazing writing for such a thing and I LOVE when writers reward viewers that pay attention to this sort of thing. Because of this very thing I have gained so much respect for ER in this episode. Because of the whole champagne in this episode and coffee in the beginning of the season. High reward for loyal viewing. Looking for something to watch? Choose an adventure below and discover your next favorite movie or TV show.

A while ago I was asked whether calculating with datums and hours is possible in R.

10 hours r

Especially, if you added an hours to say Jan 1,would R know to jump to the next day — jan 2, ? The answer is yes. Our only job is to tell R in what format our datum and time is. After we have done so, we can use these datums and times for different calculations.

We need to tell R that this is in fact a POSIX type object, whereas we need to specify which number corresponds to what.

We will tell it that the first number is day, followed by a dot. This is done through the format argument. For pedagogic purposes, I will make things a wee more complicated at least for novice. At least in my view, this makes the code where we calculate a bit more readable. See, I told you hrs and mns is more intuitive.

No surprises there — first element changed to the next day and the seconds element fell short for 15 minutes. This particular chapter can be accessed through the web. Data manipulations with R by Phil Specter can in part be previewed here kudos to aL3xa for pointing it out.

You will not see this message again.President Donald Trump was briefed in the Oval Office on Wednesday after one of the doctors treating him for the coronavirus said the president has been "symptom-free" for more than 24 hours.

NBC News, citing a senior administration official, reported that chief of staff Mark Meadows and social media aide Dan Scavino were present in the room with the president during the briefing.

Earlier Wednesday, White House physician Dr. Sean Conley said in a memo that Trump had been "symptom-free" for more than 24 hours and "fever-free for more than 4 days. The president has not required supplemental oxygen since leaving the hospital on Monday, Conley said. Later in the afternoon, Trump's account posted a nearly five-minute video of the president speaking from outside the Oval Office about his health and his administration's response to the pandemic.

He said he had "pushed" the Food and Drug Administration to make virus-related approvals, and suggested that a vaccine would not come before the election due to "politics. Conley's brief memo did not include any specific updates on the president's drug regimen. Trump, since testing positive for the coronavirus last week, has taken numerous treatments, including the steroid dexamethasone, the antiviral therapy remdesivir and an antibody cocktail from Regeneron.

The memo did include remarks from Trump himself. After the briefing, Trump tweeted that he "was just briefed on Hurricane Delta, and spoke with [Gov.

Trump was hospitalized Friday evening, hours after he announced on Twitter that he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for Covid He was discharged three days later and flown back to the White House on Marine One. The president, who is possibly still contagious, raised eyebrows and drew criticism when he took off his mask upon returning to the White House on Monday night.

Last updated: Monday, September 28, As a simple baseline calculation, let's say you take 2 weeks off each year as unpaid vacation time. Then you would be working 50 weeks of the year, and if you work a typical 40 hours a week, you have a total of 2, hours of work each year. In this case, you can quickly compute the annual salary by multiplying the hourly wage by Want to reverse the calculation? Now let's consider the case where you get paid 10 dollars an hour, but you get an additional 2 weeks of paid vacation.

You get the same result if you work all year with no vacation time. In the previous case, we assumed 2 weeks of unpaid vacation, so your total year consisted of 50 weeks. But if you get paid for 2 extra weeks of vacation at your regular hourly rateor you actually work for those 2 extra weeks, then your total year now consists of 52 weeks.

Assuming 40 hours a week, that equals 2, hours in a year.

If you wanted to be even more accurate, you can count the exact number of working days this year. It has a total of days in the year including both weekdays and weekends. There are weekend days counting every Saturday and Sunday in the yearand weekdays Monday through Friday.

So if you worked a normal 8 hour day on every weekday, and didn't work any overtime on the weekends, you would have worked a total of 2, hours over the year.

Remember that most companies give employees time off for various holidays, so that should really be included in the calculation. So your yearly income wouldn't necessarily change, but the actual number of hours you work over the year might be slightly less.

If you're working a regular 8-hour day, then you can simply take your hourly wage and multiply it by 8 to get your daily rate. Of course, some months are longer than others, so this is just a rough average. Another way to estimate the amount you make each month is to divide the annual salary by 12 months.

You can factor in paid vacation time and holidays to figure out the total number of working days in a year.

The salary calculator will also give you information on your daily, weekly, and monthly earnings. Remember that a full salary with benefits can include health insurance and retirement benefits that add more value to your total annual salary compared to similar hourly rates. You may also want to factor in overtime pay and the effects of any income taxes on your take home pay.

Type in your own numbers to convert hourly to annual pay.
